Cathy McKelway is a writer and artist. She writes middle grade and young adult novels, mostly speculative. Occasionally, she writes flash fiction.

Cathy hates ticks so much, she writes poems that include gory ends for the eight-legged blood suckers.

She paints (acrylic) plein air, and also from life or imagination.

Cathy lives in her grandmother’s mildly haunted house in the Maine woods and has an identical twin sister.

Her flash fiction story The Trade will be published in 12 Willows Press’ Book ECHOES IN THE FOG in 2025.
